Wood is a living medium, we’re subject to its nature, as it is subject to its environment, carved in reciprocity with our trees, these artefacts have been carved and preserved to last an age, to live with you. It’s natural for the material to shift with the seasons and mature as we mature, slowing down the drying out of these wood artefacts has been carefully considered by working with ancient wood preservation techniques. The result of the preservation techniques explored is the pieces are water resistant and washable,  fire resistant and rot resistant, though be mindful of storing near a strong heat source for long periods of time.  I fully trust with the quality and care taken to piece together these artefacts they will serve you and space greatly and for a long time to come.
