Mercury Vessel

Mercury; Carved from fallen Oak, with the grain still visible beneath the preservation, horizontal striations wrapping the form like time lines. Natural fissures run vertically, unapologetically present, emphasizing the wood’s history rather than hiding it. The vessel rises to a subtly fractured crown, irregular and organic, shaped as much by weather and decay as by the hand that carved it.

This vessel was carved in 2025 amongst the coming together of the 'inbetween worlds' collection, it stands at 29cm in height x 13 cm in diameter.
