Blackwood Tea Boat

Carved from blackwood, this tea boat is shaped as a place of pause within the practice of tea. The form opens around a central radius, allowing the teapot to settle, balance, and rest. Not held tightly, but received.

The concentric rings trace time and growth, drawing the eye inward. A subtle invitation to slow the hands, to listen more closely, to let ceremony unfold without instruction.

Made to serve space in ceremony.
To sit beneath the teapot as steam rises and attention gathers.
To support the ritual while remaining quiet within it.
