RELIC FORM / EST 2017.

From the roots of a fisherman drifting the south coast of Australia, through years of carpentry and landscape building, to now a self taught woodworking artist of seven dedicated years, this practice has grown through lived experience and time spent in the elements,
A woodworking practice rooted in process, humming along to the sound of the tools in hand, carved in reciprocity with the natural world, perserved within the timelines that weave and unweave through the life of a tree, the dance between material and maker.
Old worlds are reimagined, an exploration of how ancient craft, architecture, and nature can guide contemporary making. Each work is navigated as a conversation between the dialogue of material and maker, harmonising with the wood in reverence to the kinship we hold with our trees, and the landscapes within and without.
As a way to connect deeply to the world and to the self, leaving behind remnants of time spent discovering along the pathways of process. The work becomes a study of transformation, an ever-evolving web of opportunity and remembrance held within the stories of a tree and the timelines of the maker.
Carved wood vessels, artefacts, and sculptural forms are offered to serve space, as companions that live, breathe, and age with you. They hold integrity through time, gathering the marks of use and weathering as part of their becoming.
In 2025, In Between Worlds Collection opened, a new collection shaped by the space between nature and self, exploring thresholds, transition, and belonging.
Each piece is released through the seasons of exchange, an offering for those who feel to become custodians of the work, and to carry its story forward in reciprocity with nature, a gentle reminder.
